Becoming a fan of drones means doing lots of things – flying on your own, making fun videos, and exploring the skies. Once you have done all of that, the next level of the drone experience is drone racing. Our team has put together the basics to let you know what you need to do to start racing.
First of all, you’ll need a drone that is made for racing. Typically, the average lower-end drone is not built for racing, so it’s very important that you pick the perfect drone for your racing needs.
Once you have picked the drone, you’ll need to learn how to fly it. We know that flying most drones seems simple at first, but the more complicated the drone, the higher the learning curve. Spend some time watching how to videos made by other racers to help you learn the tricks of the trade.
Last, you’ll want to find a league to join. Many drone leagues are out there and you’ll want to do some research to see if the league is right for you. It’s vital to note that many leagues have their own rules, so you should make sure you agree with said rules before joining.
